FAQ

Questions about Nimo.

What I am building, what is available now, and when to contact support.

What is Nimo building?
I build web software for individuals and small service businesses. I am currently working on booking and client-management tools for services, availability, intake, and reminders.
Can I use the booking system today?
Not yet. It is still in development, and I will add self-service account setup when it is ready. The public browser tools and games are available now.
Why self-service?
A small business should be able to choose its services, set availability, and manage routine changes without arranging a consultation. That keeps setup faster and ongoing use simpler.
Do you take custom work?
Yes, selectively. I consider well-defined projects when an existing product is not a good fit. A useful first message includes the problem, who the software is for, expected timing, and an approximate budget.
When should I email?
Email if you need help with an existing Nimo service, found a security or privacy problem, have a situation the setup or documentation does not cover, or want to discuss a clearly defined custom project.
What is happening with the stars?
Each visitor is mapped to a stable, anonymous point in the background constellation. That star brightens when they visit. It is a live sketch of activity, not a map of physical location.
Why is the email address spam@nimo.is?
It has been the address for a long time. Despite the name, it is the correct address for support and custom project inquiries.
